Zin in hoogstaande progressive rock vol muzikaal avontuur? Dan zit je goed bij de Noorse rockband Motorpsycho. PC van De Morgen: “Kan een band na bijna dertig jaar en niet veel minder platen nog verrassen? In het geval van Motorpsycho: ja. De Noren hebben een gelaagd geluid waarvan ze plaat na plaat een andere kant belichten.

Op Here Be Monsters, dat emotionele onrust als thema heeft, richten ze de blik naar binnen. Gevolg: een sereen klinkend album dat meestal wegblijft van de heavy rock uit hun eerste jaren en de uitzinnige progrock van de laatste platen.
