Week 17 – Art Rock – Dead Magic

De duistere geleuid en koortsige songteksten op ‘Dead Magic’, het vierde album van Anna Von Hausswolff, zijn het resultaat van een intense zoektocht naar zichzelf en de herontdekking van haar muze, het kerkorgel. De Zweedse muzikante creëert huiverend intense songs met een spirituele ondertoon. Ze klinken als symfonische gedichten overgoten met het indrukwekkende geluid van een orgel, aangevuld met gitaar, synth en innige vocals. Je kan de artieste aan het werk zien op 28 mei in de Brusselse AB Club.
