24 EXTRA HOURS

Starting  WEDNESDAY 1st January 2020, Radio 68 celebrates its eighth anniversary by adding another 24 hours to its schedule. Radio 68 has broadcast forgotten, rare and overlooked Music & Word since February 2012…  branching out with just two shows and a modest 24 hours per… week.
Expect a few surprises the coming year.

This is how the new schedule looks like (below). All hours are Central European Time (CET = Brussels, Paris, Berlin).

Art Rock Show – Seed (Week 52)

We sluiten het (radio)jaar af met het album Seed van de Engelse band Freedom To Glide. Dit album Seed is zelf de afsluiter rond de trilogie rond het thema oorlog door de tijden heen. Het is een thema dat niet alleen in deze trilogie aan bod komt, maar ook in verschillende ep’s die het Engelse duo Andy Nixon en Pete Riley uitbrachten de afgelopen jaren. Maarten Goossensen van Prog Wereld: ”

Het duo houdt duidelijk de muzikale koers vast die ze destijds met “Rain” zijn ingeslagen en met “Fall” hebben voortgezet.
