Bij het inleidende Never Care denk je even dat je ‘Animals’ van Pink Floyd hebt opgelegd. Die akoestische gitaar zou je echt doen twijfelen. Als dan ook nog Departure de ijzige gitaarklank van David Gilmour suggereert, is het duidelijk dat dit niet voor de lachebekjes is. Dog Tag is natuurlijk ook een referentie naar het legendarische dierenalbum, terwijl de geluidseffecten het pessimistische wereldbeeld van Roger Waters oproepen.

Halverwege de jaren zeventig was de Franse jazz-rock fusionstijl nog niet volledig gedefinieerd. Dan besloot een van de beroemdste Franse gitaristen sinds zijn deelname aan Triangle zijn kanste wagen… Martial Lorenzini richtte in 1975 Edition Spéciale op, met toetsenist-zangeres Ann Ballester, bassist Josquin François Turenne des Pres en drummer Jean François Bouchet-d’Angélis. Zonder enige twijfel één van de belangrijkste Franse bands van de jaren zeventig!
