Art Rock Show – Haven of Echoes – Memento Vivere (Week 46)

Het Duitse nieuwe project Haven of Echoes werd opgericht door twee leiders van progressieve rockgroepen – Paul Sadler (ex-Spires en Andreas Hack (ex-Frequency Drift). Hun debuutalbum “The Indifferent Stars”, in samenwerking met Nerissa Schwarz (elektrische harp), een van Andreas’ voormalige bandleden, en drummer Wolfgang Ostermann, werd uitgebracht in oktober 2022.

Jacco Stijkel van Prog Wereld: “In zekere zin is Haven of Echoes een voortzetting van de Duitse cinematische progband Frequency Drift. Spil van de band is Andreas Hack. In zanger Paul Sadler van progressieve metalband Spires vond hij een bondgenoot. De band werd verder aangevuld door oud-Frequency Drift-leden Nerissa Schwarz (harp en toetsen) en Wolfgang Ostermann (drums). Schwarz heeft bovendien compositorisch het nodige in de melk te brokkelen, het nummer Ad Infinitum is van haar hand.… Read more...
