Psychedelic, heavy, prog and more innovating sounds spanning the late 60s and the early 70s – Dan’s pick of the week: Return to Forever (Romantic Warrior ), The Brecker Brothers (The Brecker Bros.), Soft Machine (Third), Mahavishnu Orchestra (Between Nothingness & Eternity) & Brand X (Unorthodox Behaviour).

Return to Forever was een Amerikaanse jazzfusionband die in 1972 werd opgericht door pianist Chick Corea. De band heeft veel leden gehad, met als enige vaste bandgenoot van Corea bassist Stanley Clarke. Samen met Weather Report, The Headhunters en Mahavishnu Orchestra wordt Return to Forever vaak genoemd als een van de kerngroepen van de jazzfusionbeweging van de jaren 1970.
