Sea Shanties is het debuutalbum van de Engelserockband High Tide, die bekend staat om het opnemen van de viool als rockinstrument. Het hoesontwerp werd getekend door Paul Whitehead.

Art Rock Show – Von Hertzen Brothers Live (Week 17)

Von Hertzen Brothers is een Finse rockgroep die in 2000 werd opgericht door drie broers. Hun muziek is een mix van klassieke rock en progressieve elementen, folk, punk en hedendaagse rock. Elk van de broers heeft een opmerkelijke geschiedenis in de Finse rockscene, beginnend vanaf het begin van de jaren negentig.

Marcel Debets van Prog Wereld: “Na acht studioalbums werd het weleens tijd om een van de energieke liveoptredens van Von Hertzen Brothers vast te leggen. Dat vond de band kennelijk ook. Bijna exact een jaar geleden nam de band een optreden op in de Tavastia club in Helsinki. Een thuiswedstrijd, want de band speelde in deze zaal in hun thuisstad al 25 keer. Bovendien is het zo ongeveer dé rocktempel van Finland, waar alle grote en kleine bands van Finland (en daarbuiten) willen spelen.… Read more...
